Linda Pena, age 89 of Victoria passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018. She was born February 29, 1928 in Charco, Texas to the late Renulfo Morales and Eva Garcia Morales. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Eloise (Lawrence) Ramirez, Sr. of Victoria; sons, Santos M. Pena, Jr. and Louis Pena both of Victoria; sisters, Adelfa Flores and Irma Valencia both of Goliad and Grace Garza of Kenedy; brother, Simon Morales of Goliad. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Roland (Bobbie) Ramirez, Lawrence F. Ramirez, Jr. (Deceased) and surviving spouse, Lilia Ramirez; Eva Olguin, Yvonne P. Vargas and Cindy Pena and 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Santos D. Pena, Sr.; sister, Mary Barrientes; half-sisters, Carlotta Robles and Encarnacion Morales; brothers, Rodrigo Morales, Ramiro Morales Sr. and Rudy Morales Sr.; half-brothers, Carlos Morales and Renulfo Morales. She was a member of the Guadalupanas Society, Shut in Ministries, member of the Tuesday Prayer Meeting and Bereavement for Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Visitation will begin Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 5 – 9pm with a rosary to be recited at 7pm at Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home in Victoria. Visitation will resume Friday, February 9, 2018 at 8:15am with a funeral mass to be celebrated at 9am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church by Bishop David Fellhauer. Burial to follow to Resurrection Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Abe Zarate, Jaime Garza, Ramiro Morales Jr., Raul Morales, Rene Morales and Rudy Morales Jr. Honorary Pallbearer will be Andrew Gonzales.
