Miguel Serna, age 93 of Victoria passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018. He was born May 7, 1924 in Brownsville, Texas to the late Roman Serna and Concepcion Sandoval Serna. He is survived by his spouse, Ofelia Sandoval of Victoria; daughter, Lulu Serna of Houston; son, Ricardo Serna of Chicago; nephews, Roberto Saldivar of Houston and J. Saldivar of San Benito; nieces, Gloria Saldivar of San Benito, Mary Jane Saldivar of San Benito and Elia Serna of Houston. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Chela Serna and Santos Serna; brothers, Choche Serna, Pancho Serna, and Jose Serna. Visitation will begin Friday, January 5, 2018 from 5 – 9pm with a rosary to be recited at 7pm at Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home in Victoria. Visitation will resume Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 9am with a chapel service to begin at 10am at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gilberto Anzaldua, Jose Saldivar, Agustin Saldivar, Ricardo Saldivar, Raul Saldivar and Jim Clark. A special thanks to Hospice of South Texas and Angels Care Home Health.
